What we keep and what we do not
In short: your PDFs never reach us. We keep traffic data only, for 90 days.
Your files
Everything happens in your browser, with an engine written in Rust and running as WebAssembly. No file, file name or piece of content is ever sent to a server.
What stays in your browser
localStorage holds one thing: the compression level you picked. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings. We set no cookies for visitors.
What we keep on the server
For each visit: IP address, time, page, browser (user agent) and the site you came from. For each job: its type (merge or split), how many PDFs, the size of each in bytes, how many pages, the output size and how long it took.
Why
To stop abuse and bots, and to know how much the service gets used. The legal basis is legitimate interest. We use no Google Analytics and share this data with nobody.
How long
Traffic data is deleted automatically after 90 days.
Check it yourself
The code is open source under the MIT license. Download it from the page footer and see what your browser sends: only the numbers above.
Who we are and how to reach us
This service is run by Bitnoda (Ion Rusu). To access or delete the data tied to your IP address, write to hello@bitnoda.team.
